The centre
The site introduced the Anti-Aging and Wellness Medical Center as a South Tampa practice that “opened its doors in July of 2007” and took “a more functional and holistic approach” — “solid alternatives to traditional pharmaceutical approaches to health management”. A facility page showed the signage, the waiting room and the building. The street address, phone and fax numbers that appeared on every page are not reproduced here.
The director, as she described herself
The Medical Director page gave a professional biography: an osteopathic family physician, originally from Washington, D.C., with a B.S. from the University of Maryland, College Park, a medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (1982), an internal-medicine internship, a family-practice residency at the University of Florida in Jacksonville completed in 1990, and board certification the same year. A sidebar explained what a D.O. is. Nothing beyond what she published about herself is repeated here.
Services, as marketed
The homepage listed bio-identical hormone replacement therapy, “orthomolecular” nutritional therapy, homeopathic formulas, injectable homeopathic pain formulas, neurofeedback (a NeurOptimal system), a weight-management programme (oral and injectable “fat burners”, appetite suppressants, a detoxification programme, food journals), a chronic-pain programme, and routine family medicine — annual exams, Pap smears, management of common prescriptions, acute illnesses “on a fit-in basis”. The site attached claims to several of these, such as a “90% success rate” for the pain injections. They are the practice’s claims from 2011–2013, recorded here as such and not evaluated.
FAQ, blog and resources
A twelve-question FAQ covered new-patient paperwork, hours, location, the weight-loss and chronic-pain programmes, accident injuries, homeopathy, bio-identical hormones, neurofeedback, family services and the D.O. degree. A blog carried articles titled “What is Anti-Aging Medicine?”, “Cardiovascular Disease” (two parts), “Vitamin K2”, “Sharpen Your Metabolic Edge”, “The Benefits of Male Hormone Replacement Therapy” and “Tampa Bay Compounding Pharmacies”, plus links to anti-aging medicine organisations. A staff page named the team; those names are not reproduced.
Testimonials
The site published about twenty patient testimonials in four categories — BHRT and anti-aging, chronic pain, fatigue, weight loss — and quoted several on every page. They were patients’ accounts of their own health, published by the practice at the time. This archive records that they existed and does not reproduce them. The old /testimonials/* addresses redirect here.
This is an independent archive of a lapsed domain, not a medical practice and not affiliated with any physician. Nothing on this site is medical advice.
